Well it has taken a while to process all this, but a few weekends back but we here at London Calling Blog had the immense pleasure of having the opportunity to regain access an abandoned building in Soho, Westminster. Being the same venue we took to for the ‘Brokedown Palace’ Paint Jam celebrating 2 years of London Calling Blog in January which saw some 37 artists take to the six floor derelict building, which offers a wealth of canvases to say the least, it was we have to say fantastic to return with some 24 artists and add another two dozen works to this charming location.
As is often the case we couldn’t do what we do without the help we receive from the artists and friends we have made along the way and for this weekend just gone we would like to say thanks to firstly all the artists who took part in the weekend, it wasn’t us that made this weekend so much fun, but everyone that came along and supported by painting, observing and enjoying the incredible playground with which was ours for another wonderful weekend.
At this point we would like to offer a big thank you to all the artists who turned out to paint throughout the weekend, bringing this neglected space further to life. Hats off to all for the magnificent array of fresh artworks produced. We would also like to say thank you to everyone else who turned out and spent the weekend with us enjoying the art and atmosphere, great to see you through the weekend and share the moment (again), it was a pleasure for us very much.
We would like to say that the number of images of any work with some works featuring a single shot and others many is largely due to a combination of the lighting issue and how some works just lent themselves to multiple perspectives and our limited camera skills, so without further ado we hope you enjoy the images from the weekend.

‘Nibiru’ by Airborne Mark on the 6th floor. Fantastic work and use of the space, it looks as if this mystical winged fairy is bursting from the cosmic realm it inhabits into this neglected building.
