A few weeks back saw the ever prolific Street Artist Fanakapan take to the rail underpass in Allen Gardens, Brick Lane, to paint his latest London work and what a fun one it is. Taking his glass dynamic a step further with this work, Fanakapan has masterfully painted a smoking monkey car decoration that one sticks to the window – glass – with the work including the reflections of the main figure on its implied surface. Always a pleasure to see work from this artist and this piece is no exception, set to a minimalist colour palette you just lose yourself in the delicate effect and intricate touches that comprise Fankapan’s pieces, creating works so full of depth, this is very much brilliant.
