A few weeks back saw Street Artist Helen Bur on a return visit to London in which she took the time to leave us with two striking works in East and North London. Helen Bur’s fluid painterly tones and water-colour effect very much making for a rather powerful and emotive aesthetic to accompany the mood of the scenes she creates, often evoking a sense of loss or resignation, as is the case with her two recent murals about town.
Work in Stucley Place, Camden Town, put up with support from Monoprixx & Not Banksy Forum.
Work taking a look at those people caught in displacement due to migration, also providing a rather apt metaphor to the gentrification process underway around the East End, in Redchurch Street, Shoreditch.
