A month or so back we had to pleasure of spending the day with Decolife on his second visit to Penge and setting to painting a duo of vibrant fresh works about town for our SprayExhibition20 Community Project. Decolife certainly left his mark on SE20 leaving the area with a striking work in Southey Street and a delightful addition to the set of painted shutters along Maple Road. Setting to create a series of abstract scenes punctuated by the deconstructed lions, ladies and dragons that inhabit Decolife’s scenes, all of which were made up in the moment, entirely spontaneous.
We would like to say thanks to the kind owners of Bella Luna Pizzeria and Demiclir Penge Food Shop for allowing us to get Decolife to add something so beautiful to their property. We also would like to offer a big thanks to Decolife for coming down to add these delightful works to the area.
