A few weeks back saw Airborne Mark return to Penge to paint what is now the 4th residential garden wall we have been entrusted with for our SprayExhibition20 community Street Art project and the third piece of ‘Origami Riots’ to have landed in Penge over the last 15 months, We have to say we love these intriguing little spots in front of a persons home and are very much impressed with what Airborne Mark worked with such a canvas. Placed upon a cosmic background full of so much flow and harmony Airborne Mark set to place a series of Origami Cranes and scrunchd paper stars to this dreamy scene. The images are based on Airborne Mark’s own reference designs and images and with this work the stars have been photographed using two light sources, namely a red and a blue light which set to crossover and create the conflicting colours shadow behind the central star.
We would like to say thanks to the kind residents in Maple Road for their immediate support to our project, allowing us to get Airborne Mark to add something so beautiful to their property. We also would like to offer a big thanks to Airborne Mark for again coming down to add some delightful work which really adds character to this stretch of houses. We would also like to say a thank you to Penge Street Art for the hook up in Maple Road.

The superb finished piece, so much depth on such a small space and so many absorbing colours without being too garish, a very harmonious addition to the road.
