Playing catch up here with a look at this absorbing work from Wasp Elder & Helen Bur placed up in Hanbury Street in Brick Lane a couple of weeks back now. Certainly a gripping work which generates a rather sombre effect with the somewhat faceless subjects walking the cold streets all emphasized by the fluid painterly tones and watercolour effect making for a rather emotive scene all punctauated by the striped background which adds depth to the scene.
