A couple of weekends back saw a large-scale Paint Jam in Mile End for Endangered 13, an event set to raise awareness for endangered species through beautiful and at times poignant artworks. The event was put together by Louis Masai, an artist whose output is solely orientated focused upon such causes, along with the Human Nature gallery, in association with the Friends of Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park, which is just across the road from this little nature reserve. The event was certainly a pleasure to attend with a real sense of prevailing community spirit from those attending as well some of the countries finest artists coming together to leave one of the best collections of murals in London along the train arches in Mile End, and doing so in a real variety of techniques, with each artist given license to represent their creature of choice in their respective style. It’s really hard to choose favourites from this event as all of the works each say so much, so we are not going to try on this occasion, however if anyone deserves special mention it is Louis Masai, who beyond organizing the event, set to lay out four murals over the course of a week, of which the Rhino is our favourite. This beautiful set of works can be found in the Tower Hamlets Cemetry Park, Ackroyd Drive, Mile End.
Work underway on just one of 3 sections of Rail Arches that Endangered 13 were set to transfrom into a beautiful and thought-provoking public gallery.

Where do I begin? A sensational group of pieces, not a dud amongst them. Definitely one for the bucket list. Thank you for posting.
Well said Scooj, an exceptional high standard across the many works created there. Certainly worth a visit if London bound.
Excellent. Wow.
Agreed Robert.
