On the weekend before Christmas Penge received a visit from the ever prolific and first rate stencil artist Dotmaster. No stranger to the area,  Dotmaster was on of the first artists to paint in Penge a decade ago and has blessed the area many times since with his brilliant paintings. On this occasion Dotmaster placed up a festive piece titled ‘He Ain’t No Angel’ depicting a Christmas tree with a rather unconventional subject atop, in this case Kurt Cobain and Sid Vicious. This tongue-in-cheek subversion of subjective norms is all so often at the heart of Dotmaster’s output and never fails to bring a smile to our face.
