As Christmas approached Crystal Palace received a visit from the ever prolific street artist Aspire who placed up a beautiful and striking Robin on the main road across from Crystal Palace station. We always love Aspire’s realistic and predominantly avian subjects, which are accompanied by a series of pixels set to acknowledge where Aspire sources his reference images, as well as how his art is predominantly consumed in the digital age. What we also love about this artwork is how harmoniously he has tied it in with the existing colour palette on the beautiful building. The fantastic work below can be found on Anerley Hill, Crystal Palace, and was put up with support from ourselves London Calling Blog as part of our SprayExhibition20 community street art project.
