As Autumn took hold, London received a visit from Spanish duo Pichi & Avo aka PichiAvo, who placed up a large-scale piece in Wandsworth that is first rate. Presenting a work in their unique style fusing classical antiquities from Ancient Greece or Ancient Rome and placing them amid a modern graffiti setting that sets to make the traditional and subversive collide into something so fantastically magical, as is the case with this great work in Soho. It is interesting to see how the duo’s work has evolved since we last saw their work in person back in 2017, being much more rounded, depth driven and colourful. This exceptional work can be found in Marl Road, Wandsworth and was put up with support from Blank Walls.
