Next up in our look back at 2025 we are taking a look at a series of six wonderful additions to Penge from Italian born, but London based, street artist Hunto. Certainly no stranger to the walls of SE20, Hunto was one of the first artists to paint in Penge back in 2016, and it’s been an absolute pleasure to have him return so many times over the years. As always, he has done a fantastic job doing what he does best, namely painting his distinct and colourful signature style abstract characters. Originally a Graffiti Writer, Hunto has gone on to develop his own brand of fluid cubist creations infused with a bold block colouring, depicting for him the great universal subject – sex, intimacy and love. It is of the utmost pleasure to see how an artist’s styles and subjects evolve over time, and that certainly applies to Hunto, who is constantly honing his craft, most notably for us in his continued fine tuned colour palettes and through the addition of new shapes and increased layers. This striking series of works were put up with support from ourselves London Calling Blog as part of our SprayExhibition20 community street art project.
