During the summer London received a visit from French street artist EAJ, who whilst over took the time to visit Penge in South-East London and hit up a couple of stunning photo-realistic dog portraits, one a solo work and one a collaboration with street artist Aspire, who brought his brand of realistic aviary subjects to the table. Through his artistic output dogs which are characterised as exclusively being dangerous dogs that shouldn’t exist. In his art EAJ sets to capture the warmth and gentle aspects of their individual character and that of the breeds in general. This summer marked the first time EAJ has visited London to paint and for the occasion he painted a pair of dogs who reside in the UK and based on the feedback we saw online from each of their respective owners he certainly did each of the individual dogs justice. The superb works below were placed up with support from London Calling Blog, for SprayExhibition20.
