New Banksy Street Art at the Royal Courts of Justice

Next up in our blog posts playing catch up with works and pieces we have seen during 2025, we are taking a look at what turned out to be the first of three artworks placed up by the ever illusive and mythical Street Artist Banksy in London last year. The piece cause quite a stir when it went up, resulting in it being covered and subsequently removed almost immediately. It depicts a judge attacking a protestor who is down on the floor, bloody, and holding a blank placard, commenting on the increasing restrictions on freedom of speech in the UK during the last year. This intriguing artwork was placed up in outside the Royal Courts of Justice on the Strand.
