New Sanchai Street Art in Anerley

As spring fully kicked in, London received a visit from travelling Thai street artist Sanchai, who whilst on his whistlestop tour of London, took the time to come south and leave one his distinctive and instantly recognisable characters. Taking to the St Hugh’s Estate, located behind Anerley Station, Sanchai made exemplary use of the space available by setting one of his characters laid down and leaning against the wall edge, dressed in clothing that suited both the weather in his homeland and the fine sunshine we had at the time. It is always a pleasure to discover new artists from around the world, and even more so when we get to discover them painting in our corner of the world, with Sanchai’s visit being no exception.

We would like to offer a big thanks to Street Art Atlas for all the help with this work going up. This fantastic work can be found in Bridgewood Close, St Hugh’s Estate, and was put up with support from ourselves London Calling Blog for SprayExhibition20.
