Just a couple of weeks ago saw Salvadoran born, but London based artist Abraham.O, make a visit to the Penge Rooftop Gallery to place up a striking portrait. Certainly one of London’s most prolific and proactive artists of current, Abraham’s works are always striking and theses addition to South-East London, have been no exception. One thing we have really enjoyed about Abraham’s output this last year is the focus on shadow and light on his subjects, that really bring the pieces to life with such beautiful effect and energy. As well as the extreme close-up dynamics of his cropped portraits, focusing on just a part of a face, or perhaps an eye. In this instance Abraham.O opted to paint a close-up of a female’s face, but spun upside down. The stunning work below were put up with support from London Calling Blog for SprayExhibition20.
