A couple of months ago a number of artists got together for the ‘Anything Alien’ paint jam up Brick Lane to put together a superb and massive production themed on the iconic Alien film series. Working to this theme the respective graffiti writers and street artists all created sections of this tableau in their respective styles to fantastic effect. It is also always satisfying to see artists make appropriate use of spaces that allow for collaborative and themed productions to go up on such a scale, as there really isn’t enough walls offering such opportunities around. Lastly it is interesting to see how the artists each presented the subject with Mister Tris offering our favourite subject with a take on Jonesy, Ripley’s cat from the original Alien film. This production was organised by Jim Vision and was put up in Grey Eagle Street, Brick Lane.
