Next up in our look back at 2024 we are taking a look at four artworks by UK graffiti writer and street artist Skewer placed up at the Penge Rootop Gallery through the year. This is an artists whose work was new to us last year year, first discovering them via a piece painted in Stockwell, since then we have been lucky enough to have them paint a number of times in our corner of South-East London and we have been consistently impressed by the sheer range of subjects and styles this artist can work with to such an excellent effect. Of the four works below we have two human portraits, a wolf and sheep combo and a copper letter piece. It has been exciting to see that this artist does next and we for one look forward to seeing what 2025 brings from Skewer. The works below were placed up with support from ourselves London Calling Blog.
