A couple of months back saw Spanish street artist Cristina Reyes pass through London, following painting for the Look Up Festival in Portsmouth. Whilst on her brief visit to London, South-East London was fortunate enough to host this artist and enjoy an excellent piece of art in the process. Presenting a whimsical, surreal and bold illustrative scene the work is exceptionally captivating and utilised the space superbly – which is no mean feat when painting with brushes on such a surface as this wall offers. Hopefully we will see this artist come and paint in London again, but for now we are grateful to have had this piece go up jusy over the border from our hometown. The striking work below was placed up at in Chaffinch Road, Clockhouse, with support from ourselves London Calling Blog and Street Art Atlas for our SprayExhibition20 community street art project.
