During the summer London received a visit from Spanish street artist Sebas Velasco who placed up this exceptional artwork titled ‘A Lasting Place’ in Stockwell. Certainly one of the standout pieces of the year on London’s scene. the work features a young male stood in front of Brixton’s train line at night. Through his work Sebas Velasco explores the relationship between urban life and nature through an expert understanding of light and space to align his scenes and subjects often set in a very urban landscape, such as a predilection for industrial areas and housing estates.
