A few months back saw London receive a visit from Peruvian born, but Netherlands based, street artist Aparte, who on his whistlestop visit to the city hit up a trio of works – one in Penge and two in Stockwell – of which we caught two and are sharing below. The somber work in Penge features a tribal child looking on as his homeland – the rainforest – goes up in flames, making for a very emotive and well executed piece. Where as the work from Stockwell that we caught presents a more otherworldly and slightly surreal futuristic vibe about it.

Work at the Penge Rooftop Gallery, Penge, placed up with support from London Calling Blog.

Work in the Stockwell Hall of Fame, Stockwell.
