For this blog post we are taking a look at a series of eleven artworks that have been placed up over the last year, which we have seen on visits to Shoreditch and Hackney Wick in East London from street artist Fat Cap Sprays. It’s always a pleasure see fresh works from this prolific artist and thankfully we never have to go to far and wait to long to do so, this artist is always getting up all over London. All of the below works have been depicted in the artist’s own distinct take on neon style illustration that bring these characters to life and really pop from the surface they adorn. It is also always interesting to look back at the end of a year and see how this artist’s style has evolved, with the most noticeable shifts being on them painting more original characters and pieces becoming increasingly loose and abstract.
