Next up in our series of blog posts playing catch up with works and pieces we have had the pleasure of seeing through 2024, we are taking a look at a set of four works by Lebanese born, but London based, graffiti writer Rile. Our early morning trips to East London via Stockwell led to us discovering this artist this year, and below we have two works from the Stockwell Hall of Fame, and two works from the Penge Rooftop Gallery to share. Rile’s work is very intersting, fusing classical graffiti, deconstructed photorealism, figurative characters and abstract/graphic design sensibilities, there really is so much going on in his pieces and we have enjoyed what work we have seen from this artist through 2024 and look forward to seeing more in the not too distant future.
The works below that were placed up in Penge, were put up with support from ourselves London Calling Blog for our SprayExhibition20 community project.
