Next up in our catch up with artworks we have seen throughout 2024, we are taking a look at a pair of artworks from street artist Itaewon, both painted on the same spots in Brick Lane throughout the year. It has been a very long time since we saw anything from this artist on the streets of London, and in that time he has very much shifted his style and focus points, presenting two portraits of a child and with each of their respective parents. Figurative subjects like this was not something we would of previously associated with this artist, however you can still very much see the link to his former artistic output in the accompanying bold almost mechanical geometrics running around and through the portraits. The first work is no longer up and the second one can currently be seen in Brick Lane at the Whitechapel end.
