Earlier this year London received a visit from English born, but Australian based street artist Rosie Woods who offered a glimpse into the exciting new direction her work has taken through 2024. Rosie Wood’s work has shifted from a more flowing abstract focus to photorealistic golden entities – in this case in the form of two statue busts, with the heads covered by fabric. The new works are certainly impressively executed and striking in nature and we for one look forward to seeing where this artist takes this styling and hope it isn’t too long before she returns to London to leave some fresh additions to the ever changing scene about the City. The stunning work below was placed up in Old Street, Shoreditch, and at the very bottom we have a collaboration with David Speen that is placed up along Kingsland Road heading towards Hackney.
