Next up in our series of blog posts playing catch up with works and pieces we have had the pleasure of seeing through 2024, we are taking a look at this superb work that was placed up in Penge earlier this year by graffiti writer and street artist Ster. Taking to the top floor of the Penge Rooftop Gallery, Penge, Ster hit up one of the stand-out pieces from 200 or so first rate artworks that have adorned the space through the course of 2024. Painting a striking illustrative female portrait surrounded by a rich murky background colour scheme that really makes the central subject pop. Not only is this artwork superb, it is all the more impressive to us as we know that this was painted on a roof four floors up, amid 40 mph winds, no easy feat to endure at any time, let alone up a ladder painting such an intricate and beautiful artwork. This striking work was put up with support from ourselves London Calling Blog as part of our SprayExhibition20 community street art project.
