Earlier this year street artist Aspire took to Brick Lane to hit up a pair of bays with two additions of his Firestick Series. For an artist that is so proactive around London and beyond his work makes for a surprisingly exotic sighting when it comes to the Brick Lane and Shoreditch area of the scene. So it was definitely a treat to see this pair of drops in a less common environment, with one work featuring a Blue Tit and the other a Sparrow as the subjects of his predominantly bird focused works. Of the two works, our favourite is the Blue Tit in placed up in Corbett Place, solely for the tail coming out of the frame of the wall, however both pieces were fantastic. The work below in Corbett Place is miraculously still up and running. The work in Jerome Street is however long gone.
