For our next post playing catch up with works and pieces we have had the pleasure of seeing through 2024, we are taking a look at a work from visiting Hawaiian street artist and graffiti writer Zoinky. Offering something a little different in terms of subject to the other works we saw from this artist whilst they were in London, namely a snake. However the leaves were more in keeping with the run of floral based works he created whilst over. The colour scheme was immediately recognizable as being colours popular with Zoinky. The work certainly made great use of the space, and was rich in texture and detail despite the less than perfect uneven brick surface it went up on, and we also very much loved the decision to keep the raw brick as the background for the design. This fantastic artwork was placed up in Crooked Billet Yard, Shoreditch, with support from Outside the Zone.
