One of the first works we actively travelled across London to see this year, was this beguiling artwork from Midlands based artist Adam Illes. Fusing photorealistic portraiture in the form of three subjects with an abstract styling imbued with a strong graphic design dynamic, the work offers so much to gaze upon. Fractured into several sections the collective whole is so captivating and certainly didn’t disappoint. It is also always a pleasure to see work from a newly discovered artist and we for one hope it isn’t too long before Adam Illes returns to London to drop some fresh work. This superb artwork can be found in Curtain Road, Shoreditch.
