For our next blog post catching up with 2024, we are again in our corner of South-East London and looking at a pair of captivating artworks from visiting Hawaiian artist and graffiti writer Zoinky, who spent a few months in London from late 2023 to early 2024. One of our favourite things about the scene is the continuous exposure to work from new artists, and it was a pleasure to have this artist come to London and leave an array of diverse subjects – abstract, dreamlike realism and letter works – all imbued with his distinct style and striking purple and blue heavy colour palette. For this pair of works placed up at the Penge Rooftop Gallery at the start of the year featured one flowing abstract piece which was equally rich in textures and colours and a non-traditional wildstyle letter piece that has so much going on in its lovely colour palette.
