Dan Kitchener Street Art ‘Reflections’ in Penge

Next up we are taking a look at the first artwork to be painted in Penge in 2024, on New Years Day even, by Dan Kitchener, who certainly set off the year with a bang. Taking to the roof of the Blenheim Centre for the first he took to one of the spaces feature walls and created this stunning scene titled ‘Reflections’ depicting the view of a British motorway as seen through a car windscreen on a very rainy day. This work represents the first time Dan Kitchener has painted one of these scenes as seen through the glass of a vehicle in Penge, which was certainly a treat. It is also interesting to see how such a loose approach from this impressionist driven artist really comes together in such a vibrant and captivating scene, making such a mundane scene beautiful. This artist’s work is always full of energy and this is reflected in the fact that it was painted in less than four hours. This stunning work was placed up at the Penge Rooftop Gallery, Penge, and was put up with support from ourselves London Calling Blog.
