Next up we are looking at a trio of superb collaborations from Efomural duo Reves and Sidok placed up in South and East London during the course of 2023. We have to say these two represent individual talents in their own right – as we will share below with some of the solo and collaborations with other artists works from the respective artist we have seen this last year – but they also fuse their own personalised styles harmoniously and to such great effect that it can be difficult to tell who painted particular aspects of their often elaborate compositions when they collaborate. Their works fuse many elements from traditional graffiti, illustration, figurate photo-realistic imagery, and more modern graphic design dynamics to create works that are very much their own. Always a pleasure to see work from these two talents and even more so when we get to see it in our hometown.
The works below in Penge and Crystal Palace were placed up with support from ourselves London Calling Blog for our community mural project SprayExhibition20. We of course wish to say a massive thank you to both Reves and Sidok for supporting the community initiatives we involve ourselves with and for leaving such a captivating pair of artworks in our corner of the world in the process.
