Last up in our look back at 2016 we are going to share what Artista has been upto in Blackall Street, Shoreditch, the last year. Certainly London’s most prolific Street Artist of the last year, we have very much lost count of how many works she hit up around town in 2016 – we believe it to be in the region of 65-70, and this little spot in Blackall Street was an impressive task upon which Artista embarked upon painting some 20 A Flying Toast works in this delightful East End alleyway. It really has been fun to see what scene would present itself next in this series and has very much made for a great space to check in with regularly over the last year. We managed to see 18 of the 20 works comprising this set, but unfortunately missed the final two pieces, but have kindly been provided images to share with you by Artista.
So it begins in January 2016 with this sweet and delightful piece put up as part of ‘London Calling Blog Is One’ Paint Jam in Shoreditch.
